More Tuesday - Wales

Next door to the Welsh Quilt Centre is Calico Kate - a very interesting, jam packed quilt store.

Lots of interesting surprise in this store. Look out for the Welsh Woollen fabrics and the cross-stitch Celtic designs.

After an amble around the village we headed for our home for the night, Gwesty'r Emlyn Hotel.

 

One of these is the hotel we stayed in, the other a castle ruin just 5 minutes walk away.

The hotel is magnificent and for me the best we have stayed at so far. We were greeted by the entire staff, who made us feel very special.

Dinner!!! What can we say about dinner? Of the highest stand and far too plentiful, our meals were perfectly prepared and presented. Lots of local flavours too.
