The long drive was worth it - a guided tour of the Waterford Crystal plant. How interesting to see from the beginning how their beautiful products are made. Here in Waterford only the high-end pieces are made. Things like trophies for tennis championship, golf and commission pieces for people that has something special in mind.
The visitor centre has only been opened for a couple of years, so if you have been here before then you need to come back and watch it all up close.
